Jaime Murphy - Travel Counsellor

In 2009, Jaime, followed her dreams and opened her own Professional Travel Consulting and Mentoring Business affiliated with Travel Professionals International.  

Along with fine tuning amazing vacations for clients, Jaime also mentors the Magical Trips TPI Travel Team; a group of independent Travel Advisors affiliated with Travel Professionals International.   In 2015 Jaime Incorporated her Professional Travel Consulting and Mentoring Business as Magical Trips Inc.

Though Jaime's original focus when she started in the Industry over a decade ago was everything Disney,  since then she has made the investment to become an expert in many different styles of travel and destinations.  She developed a strong passion for studying different cultures, different ways to travel, and exploring this amazing world.  By the time Jaime was 35, she had already visited 35 countries and taken 15 cruises, many of which she experienced with her husband and two daughters.  She collects useful travel tips in each destination to help guide her in her vacation planning.  Her attention to detail and level of knowledge makes Jaime a sought after Travel Advisor and mentor.

Jaime continues to grow within the world of travel. In 2011 she was awarded Travel Professionals International Rising Star Award and earned the honour of their highest level of Excellence within the organization.  She continues to achieve this honour on an annual basis.  She has earned multiple designations and awards over the years. Some exclusive designations include becoming a Certified Travel Manager, a Certified Travel Counsellor, a Virtuoso Member,  and a TPI Chairman Circle Member.   During 2015-2017 she also served as an Advisory Board Member with Travel Professionals International and currently is part of the Alberta/NT council for the Association of Canadian Travel Agencies  (ACTA).  Magical Trips Inc. won Business of the Year with the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce for 2019/20.

When Jaime was asked how did she know this career was for her, her response was "The first time I heard a client say "We had an amazing vacation because of you!"  I knew this was what I was meant to be."
