Certified through the Association of Canadian Travel Agencies (ACTA) as both a Certified Travel Manager (CTM) and Certified Travel Counsellor (CTC), Jaime is also an Accredited Cruise Counsellor (ACC) with CLIA and holds a Master of Business Administration from Athabasca University with a focus on innovation and digital transformation in travel. 

Jaime Murphy is the founder of the Magical Trips Team, a collective of boutique travel consulting agencies affiliated with Trevello Travel Group. In addition to leading her own award-winning agency, Magical Trips Inc., Jaime mentors fellow agency owners and advisors by providing strategic guidance, marketing support, and professional development leadership.

Her dual role as Director of Magical Trips Inc. and leader within a broader national affiliate network reflects her commitment to collaboration, professionalism, and elevating the travel advisory industry.

 For Jaime, travel has always been about more than simply going somewhere new. It is about connection, celebration, discovery, and creating memories that last long after the journey ends.

What began as a personal passion naturally evolved into a career as friends, family, and colleagues sought her trusted travel advice. That passion ultimately led to the creation of Magical Trips Inc., a boutique Canadian travel agency built on relationships, expertise, and genuine care for each client’s experience.

With more than 17 years as a full-time travel professional, Jaime plans hundreds of vacations every year. She has taken over 30 cruises, visited more than 40 countries, travelled on all seven continents, and designed travel experiences for people of all ages and stages of life.

Her love of Disney Cruise Line played a key role in inspiring her to open her travel business in 2009. That early passion for Disney travel grew into a broader love of exploring the world and helping others experience it with confidence, ease, and excitement.

 Jaime specializes in:

• Multigenerational and family vacations 
• Celebration travel such as destination weddings, anniversaries, milestone birthdays, and reunions 
• Curated luxury and experiential journeys
   

Her extensive firsthand travel experience allows her to provide recommendations grounded in real-world insight, strong industry partnerships, and a deep understanding of what makes a trip truly exceptional.

Clients consistently value Jaime’s calm guidance, attention to detail, and strong advocacy. She believes travel planning should feel exciting and supported rather than overwhelming, and she works diligently to ensure every detail is thoughtfully managed from initial inspiration through to the return home.

Today, her personal travel favourites include river cruises, expedition cruising, guided cultural journeys, and experiencing some of the world’s largest cruise ships, including her excitement for Royal Caribbean’s Star of the Seas. She also enjoys boutique hotels, unique immersive travel experiences, and still happily returns to Disney destinations for both nostalgia and family-focused travel inspiration.

Beyond working directly with travellers, Jaime is deeply committed to supporting fellow travel advisors. Through the Magical Trips Team and Trevello Travel Group, she provides mentorship, marketing leadership, and professional development support to independent advisors building their own successful travel businesses.

Her MBA studies focused on digital transformation and innovation within the travel industry, further strengthening her ability to guide both clients and advisors through a rapidly evolving travel landscape.
